Nathan's Birth...week!

Happy Birthday #3 to Nathan this past week. He got this super cool guitar from Aunt Barbara and Annie ~ he's carried it everywhere, along with at least one of his new firetrucks. What fun he's having!!

Super big and room for fire guys, this truck came from Grandma and Grandpa Freeman.

We've had such a fun week celebrating Nathan's birthday....way too much to try to have fit into a single day!!

The week has ended with a cake and ice cream celebration... I'll let you guess what the theme was for this year!

Tuesday was Nathan's actual birthday and as is our tradition, he got to go to dinner at the place of his choosing with just mom and dad.

Since Grandpa Evans introduced McDonald's to him last summer, it's Nathan's all-time favorite. And now, as he told his sisters, it's HIS birthday place!!

Nathan got a really cool fire station from Elizabeth. It pulls out and then folds up for storage, but comes with laddars and a little water cannon and flame to "put out". Awesome!

We also have a traditional "good night ____ year old" picture that we take the night before our birthdays. That picture is the one below this one. I found Liz reading to Nathan before he went to bed. Too cute not to take a picture!

GOODNIGHT TWO-YEAR OLD!!

Grandpa Evans came over with some awesome presents that fit perfectly with this year's theme. Way to go, Grandpa!! (and Grandma! :))

Just love these faces.....

What a pleasure to celebrate this great occasion this week!!

looks like a great week! I am just wondering if this is going to be Nathan's annual birthday theme? at least until he's 12 or so?!!! :) what a cutie!

we've already decided on Rescue Heroes for next year...though there are lots of variations on the Firetruck theme, so I'm sure you'll see something similar again in the years to come. :)
