Kurt has an exciting year ahead. He turns 40 in September and in the mean time will be teaching Paramedics in addition to being one! He'll celebrate 5 years with BFD in April, and continues to love his job. He's serving as Scout Master and has fun re-living his scouting experiences as a leader this time.
The new year surely has some good things in store for Maryhelen, though they are most likely things that aren't so calendar-able.
Elizabeth is halfway through her Junior year and neck deep in Choir activities. A Madrigal "glass breaker", she's made it to All State and will sing in the state solo contest. She's also the newest lifeguard at the Y. Let her know if you're drowning!
Kathryn is 14 now and officially a Mia Maid. She's busy with Science Bowl and band activities.
Melissa is on the countdown to 12 and can't wait to get to Young Women's. She's reading like a sieve and getting not just A's, but A+'s in most of her classes!
Nathan is the first to celebrate a birthday in our family and just turned 5. He'll graduate from Pre-School in May and yes, that means Kindergarten is just a few months away!
Emily is new to tumbling class and Sunbeams and just loves them both. She's getting away from general 3-ness, which is an appreciated milestone.
Benjamin will celebrate his half birthday in February. He's almost sitting up, eating cereal 3 times a day and love love loves his fingers! He is a happy boy and such a grinner. We are all glad to finally have him here.
"The opportunity to enter the temple and to take upon ourselves the sacred covenants therein is one of the greatest blessings available to us in mortality. Then after we take upon us those covenants, our obedience in living them daily stands as a demonstration of our faith, love, devotion, and spiritual commitment to honor our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ." ~ Robert D. Hales
