I am looking for some help though in being able to create links within posts ~ you know, when a word is underlined and highlighted and clicking on that word will link to another post or article or web page.
Are you the one who knows how to do that?
Would you be so kind as to leave a comment with some instruction?

all you gotta do is highlight the word you want to link in your post, then look for the link button in your toolbar (right above the posting box, near the font formatting). The button looks almost like an infinity symbol. Click it, paste in your link and hit ok. :) That's all there is to it!
